New city centre site on market


The former Yorkshire Water depot in the city centre has been put up for sale. The 2.5 acre site in George Street, off Leeds Road close to the Leisure Exchange, is being sold by Keyland Developments, Kelda’s property arm.  It is currently being used as a car park. Contractor appointed for Broadway cinema

Odeon building prospects


A new report on theatres ‘at risk’ says the future of the former Odeon building in Bradford is looking bright. The Theatres Trust listed the site in its 2015 risk register but used it as a case study of how buildings can be ‘saved’ from demolition. Read more on the T&A website here.
