Bradford's landmark development scheme on Manchester Road is being put back on track, two years after it was mothballed.
The 38-storey Citygate scheme has been picked up by the York-based Skelwith Group, who are now working with Bradford Trident Trading on completing the apartment project. Skelwith already have a record of success locally, having refurbished the Woolston House scheme on Sunbridge Road last year.
Citygate bit the dust two years ago when the original developer, Asquith Properties, ran into financial difficulties as result of the economic recession. Skelwith feel that they can take the project forward and many Bradford businesses and local residents would be only too pleased to see the scheme on one of the city's main arteries become a success.
