Views sought on city centre sites
As part of the ongoing redevelopment of the city centre, views are being sought on how the different sectors at work in the city centre are planned and located.
A City Centre Area Action Plan (CCAAP) is being worked up as part of the delivery plan to set out the spatial strategy for the city - i.e. to look at the boundaries of the city, consider where retail, commerce, education sectors should be confined to and how public access and vehicle movements will be managed as the city changes face over the next generation.
Bradford Council is currently consulting on the plans up to mid-November, and a range of documents can be found on-line. However, some of these documents (all PDFs) are lengthy and will take some time to download.
Packs of the documents or verbal information can be obtained by calling 01274 434296.
