Paul Mackie

A senior partner with the construction consultants,  Paul is an active participant in many business activities in Bradford..  He desperately wants to see the city brought back to its former glory "while still young enough to enjoy it", as he puts it.

 

 

Jonathan Riley - Pinsent Masons

Jonathan is partner in the property department, heading up the northern planning and compulsory purchase practice.  He is working hard to forge connections across the district that will ease Bradford's renaissance.

Jez Lester

Jez works for the district's largest social landlord and has a wealth of experience in finance, housing management, strategy, regeneration and asset management. He oversaw their £300m improvement programme and has responsibility for initiatives including the design and delivery of responsive maintenance programmes to over 22,000 homes.

Property industry professional and promoter of regeneration in Bradford city centre. Former head of building design consultancy Robinson Design Group. Instigated Broadway shopping development and Channel mixed use development. President of Bradford Chamber of Commerce and founder member of Bradford Professionals Network and the Property Forum.
Dr Crina Oltean-Dumbrava
Bradford University
A Senior Lecturer, Crina is chair of the Association of Civil Engineering Departments of UK universities. She is also a Chartered Civil Engineer, Chartered Builder, Chartered Surveyor, and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Brian has been Managing Director of Skipton Properties for 24 years. The company has been predominantly involved in regeneration projects in both Bradford and the Craven area, mainly in housing.

Leigh is a director of Smart Moves Group, a property and marketing consultancy operating from Bradford's Learning Quarter.   He previously published PaD Property & Design Magazine.
Asghar Ali

Asghar is a co-director of Smart Moves Group.  He is also a director of Smart Property Management (Smart Moves' residential lettings) and Lahore Cafe Bar.  Asghar covers for Leigh as the Smart Moves representative.
Tom Devine

A leading surveyor providing strategic advice to property occupiers in the North of England.  In Bradford he has: provided strategic property advice on the Exchange Court project since 2006; secured funding and advised The Lighthouse Group on its relocation from Great Horton Road to West Bowling; and worked with Christians Against Poverty to devise a property strategy to support its national business from its Little Germany base. Tom also works with local authorities and RDAs to solve property issues that limit economic growth.

A prominent and well-known figure in Bradford's business community, Alan represents the Royal Institute of British Architects on the group.

A director with Robinson Design, Alan also leads on the organisation of the two-yearly Bradford Design Awards.

Managing director of Robinson Design.  Its architects, engineers and graphic designers work nationally and from offices in China. Antony has a passion for design excellence.
